Certifications
Not all certifications are the same. In fact, most of the chain fitness centers offer their own “personal training certifications” meaning that they are not acceptable credentials outside of that gym chain. Personal Trainers should have nationally accredited certifications that are recognized by NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies). You work hard and deserve to have a knowledgeable, component and appropriately-trained professional working with you. Ask questions before you begin and please don’t ever sign into long-term contracts. I will never ask you to sign anything other than a liability waiver nor will I ask you to pay for more than the month. If I can’t deliver a world class program, I don’t deserve to be your trainer – that simple!
Training Philosophy
The boring stuff -It is a field tested, science based system that building a strong balanced core in the beginning stabilization phase then moving through the strength client in the first phase which is stabilization. Next we move through strength phases and finally into the power phase. Again, this is my foundation. To this foundation I have tried, tested and gleaned from experience many strategies to help speed lean muscle growth and body fat reduction to speed enhance the OPT model. Incorporating HIIT routines in between strength building workouts, using afterburners (mini intervals) to target metabolism to finish a session or the use of pyramids to name a few.
Now to explain that in English: We start by finding out where your fitness level is now and where you wish to go and we develop a plan to get you there. That plan will be safe, efficient and effective. I build from the ground up, going after the bigger muscles to quickly build your metabolism and allow your body to burn fat. This means a lot of glute training. If you want your bum to “pop”, I am the trainer for you! And I don’t stop there – I design programs that tone and strengthen the entire body. I teach proper form, posture and tempo. No matter where you currently are, together we can get you to be healthy, lean and strong.

I have been working with clients since 2010 to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. No two people are exactly the same so no two fitness programs should be either.
